The Safe Environment Policy has been established in an effort to protect our young children from sexual abuse. The database is managed through Virtus. Please click on the document below to go to the directions page to move forward in becoming a volunteer and follow the instructions for obtaining the rest of your clearances.
The following forms must be on file in the school office before anyone can participate in activities with the students:

PA State Police Clearance: This generated at no cost to you by the diocese upon Virtus registration
Child Abuse Clearance: This is free for volunteers and available here.
Complete Protecting God’s Children training online in Virtus
Act 126 Reporting Child Abuse: Completed online
FBI Fingerprint Clearance (if you have lived outside of PA in the last ten years) or signed Affidavit for non-arrest (available below)
Read (online) and Sign the Code of Pastoral Conduct booklet
Read (online) and Sign the “Reporting of Child Abuse and the Child’s Protective Services Law of Pennsylvania booklet.
All certifications and forms can be taken on line. Once you have registered on the Diocesan database, a Pennsylvania police clearance will be obtained for you.
